My name is Charles Leo (also short­ened as Cleo on some of my illus­tra­tions) and I am an artist, archi­tec­tural illus­tra­tor, and the owner of LunarStu­dio Archi­tec­tural Ren­der­ings. I was born and raised in Iron­d­e­quoit, New York. I grad­u­ated from SUNY Gene­seo back in 1996 with a Bach­e­lors degree in Anthro­pol­ogy with a focus on Pre-med/Medical Anthro­pol­ogy initially.

Shortly after grad­u­a­tion, I moved to the Boston area because sev­eral friends lived here. While try­ing to set­tle down, I ended up work­ing many odd jobs in order to make ends meet. I taught myself web­site design and cod­ing before the tech bub­ble reached its peak, but even­tu­ally branched-off into other graphic design-related direc­tions includ­ing 3D artwork. As the years passed, I started sev­eral web­sites and busi­nesses includ­ing LunarStu­dio, HDR­Source, and Lunarlog to name a few.

LunarStu­dio is cur­rently my main line of work and focus. It was orig­i­nally designed in a time when blog­ging sys­tems weren’t as com­mon as they are now. LunarLog is a spare project of mine — a sound­ing board of my ideas.
